Retrospecting 2014

Well, I am not really happy with me in this year. I’ve done a lot but on the way I have lost focus to my main goals. So in these days I am creating my ‘bucket list’ 2015 and leave it in my planner the whole year very visible.
My husband would laugh about it, he is a great inspiration. He is able to focus his goal and goes for it. No matter the costs.
So first point on my list: to be as thoroughoing as he is 🙂
And also the next positions are going to be inspired by people who sorround me.
For the next year, remember that:

And I wish you many people around you who inspire you to be better.
Happy new year everyone,
Martina
P.S.: here is the video of me creating this Art Journal page

Creepy Laces

Creepy Lace

Original lace and the creepy version of it. Colored with silks and white acrylic paint.

I spent a whole day on this stuff, it is so much fun… You need polyesther tulle, laces, ribbons, satin, whatever you find and it is synthetic. And a heat gun. For more advanced creations, you may also need sewing machine.

PLEASE BE CAREFULL HEATING UP YOUR FABRICS, IF THEY START TO SMEL STOP AND TRY ANOTHER ONE. YOUR ROOM SHOULD BE GOOD VENTILATED. MY WINDOW WAS OPEN THE WHOLE TIME.

When you create trims with materials of different thickness, the best is to layer them from the thickest on one side to the thinnest on the other. Heat up from the thickest one. So I was heating my trims on the lower side and the tulle got burnt too.
WOULDN’T THAT BE GREAT ON A HALLOWEEN COTUME?
