so today about practical things 😉
When you decide to use a one book system, you probably look out for a very thick one. And because our lives have different areas which need to be maintained, planned thought through, you need to find a navigation system in your book.
I do use diverse tools to help me find fast what I need.
Few pages on the beginning of my book are Index pages. I do recommend to create and maintain an index, it is really helpful 🙂 On the left side is index of washi tapes I use on the edges of my pages. This way I am able to find fast spreads which consider same theme.
There are also ‘temporary notes’ in my book, like weekly schedules, diverse running lists. Those are marked with an post-it tab. I move the tab as I move to the next page.
And since yesterday, there is one more orientation tool, which is also veeeery pretty:

Since two months I am in a one book system. It gives me freedom and space to focus on my life, goals, things I want to achieve. I do not think of new inserts or other things, I know there are 480 Pages waiting for me to be filled with notes, ideas, plans. After 10 weeks a quarter of my book is filled, I am in one size smaller jeans and much clearer about what I want to do and where I want to go.
So it is time to share 🙂
As a first step, take a notebook or a piece of paper and write down what you wish in your life. Think big, forget about boarders, conventions, restrictions. Just dream it and write it down 🙂
When you are done with finding out what you want, start to gather images which are symbolizing your wishes. I do that as I go, so my own vision board is all the time in progress. Of course there is a small to go version of it in my Bullet Book, another one is my wallpaper on my cell phone and a big one is in my craft-room. It may be a lot, but it really helps me to search ways to achieve things.
Now is time to think about the small steps which help you to reach big things. I have created a spread for each of my goals like fit into jeans size 31, become an artist, create beautiful home. Here I write the tasks which are necessary to be done to come those goals closer. This is a sports page with a plank challenge and a plan for jogging.
And finally every week I do set three goals which concern my eating habits, fitness and art skills. And every week I do my best to achieve those goals. With my eating habits it took me several weeks to get better, but now I do check them off weekly.

Thirteen years ago my cat-boy Speedy was born.
He was a great friend, we had fun and of course sometimes he made me pretty mad. But mostly he knew how to make me smile. Even when he woke me up.
In February this year, he got ill. His back legs did not work anymore. We tried some medication, but it was actually lost fight… We cared for him as good as possible, but anyway he had problems to come somewhere, especially to the toilet. We did even install an easy access toilet, but I can tell you it was anyway so loud when he tried to get there.
And that was mostly around 5-6 a.m.. I was not morning person, but I knew he does his best and woke up to help him, to wash him etc.
And I have realized an interesting thing: when I wake up early I am more productive. Me, a night owl. But it is a fact I do more during the day, I feel much better.
We were forced to send Speedy to sleep on May 19th and I miss him daily.
But I am also grateful to him that he taught me to wake up. I am daily awaken at 6 a.m., go to run or do my yoga workout and start my day.
And every morning I say: ‘thank you Speedy’.
I hope that you, your family and your pets are all well and recommend you to give waking up early a try. It does make difference.

I used to work in front of camera whe I was young and now, in the second half of thirties I feel old. And I got really shocked when we made this picture:
it was like OMG I knew I am aging, but that much?!!!!
Recently we needed some photos for something and asked out Photographer friend Natascha Gretz, who ist over at NELOGRAFIE to take photos.
I was so scared to see the pictures and so happy when she sent them over to me. I am not THAT old 😀
After this shooting I feel beautiful again, so in case you have same problem as I did, check out a professional photographer near by you and make an appointment. It is definitely worth it. 🙂 I have promissed myself to make a photoshooting at least twice a year. This gives me energy and great over all feeling.

Yes, exactly five books, 2040 Pages and two weeks of work. But now, the book is perfect 🙂
left: spine of the first is very different from the fifth spine. I have hidden the binding and spine elastics.
By now the spine is staight and looks really like a book.
The book is stil laying flat open on every page. This is what I love about them.
